[Click. The communicator flips on automatically and for a moment there's silence, which is then broken by the sound of displaced air and a high, agonized shriek, which trails off and dies a moment later. Silence again and then claws scrabbling and clicking over the wood surface of the night-stand. The communicator is picked up and there is the sound of sheets rustling as Karis shifts her body on the bed. Her voice is a bit raspier then usual, a bit strained.]

...what the Hell?

[She lets out a dry, hacking cough, then growls, muttering to herself. The listener can only catch a few of the words.]

Fel-damned... of-a bitch priest... kill... tricky bastard...

[She talks directly into the communicator now.]

Nice trick. 

...Celeste, you OK?

And who the fuck has my armor? I want that shit back.

I don't either. I know I'm keeping my nose clean right now, need to say free and able at the moment. Perhaps she just wants to stay under Redd's radar?

Though if a few days in the brig stops her from taking it out on someone who killed her closest damn comrade, I have to wonder. What the hell is so important about staying low? What's she saving it for?

Unless someone cut him down, he probably did.

Hmph. Well at any rate, when my business is done, if you need a hand from someone who won't go up in flames when he pulls that "smite" business I'm all for it. Love to make him suffer, anything that hurts him is something I want in on.

Few days in the brig is nothing. Diddly. Won't stop me from hurting people, that's for damn sure.

One of his little club probably did. Bastards. Of course, he still could've bled to death, so who really knows?

I'm going to take him down and if you're around when I do, that's fine. I'll do it myself if I have to, though. He's going to bleed.

I'd love to fucking see it. He bleeds nice, and he's ALWAYS giving you excuses to up the ante, even when he can barely speak for the pain. Mouthy son of a bitch.
