The best way to forget the voices and shut them out is to pretend they don't exist. Build a nice little wall and then He can't get you. Then he can't drag you back. He can't make you think you want it again. You forget that He was ever there.

There's the sound of glasses or bottles clinking together before Karis' slurred voice finally comes over the comm, "...I hate this boat." Liquid is poured into a glass and gulped down, "...most of all I hate all of you fuckin' breathers. Fuck it. You're all... so... alive. And you don't even know what you fuckin' have. Fuck alla you. Yeah."

She pours herself another shot and gulps it down, "They say.... they say that you don't know what you have 'til it's gone. Well. They're fuckin' right. Damn alla you to the fuckin' nether. Hope this fuckin' boat sinks so I get to watch you all drown. Fuckers. With your breathing and your eating and your damn feelings. Fuck it."
